Dona Samson Zappone is a freelance writer/performance poet and artist. She grew up in Malaysia with Sri Lankan parents and 11 siblings in a small Town call KOTA TINGGI. Dona has been published in various anthologies in Australia, UK, USA and Malaysia. Her work has been published in Malaysia Post, Zinewest, Mosaic, Letters, Poets Union, Grandmas Bed, Hidden, and Mascara Online. Dona speaks several languages and performs in Bahasa. Travel, writing, reading and painting have opened her eyes to new horizons and opportunities.
Phil Brown is a Brisbane journalist, poet and author. He is the author of two books of poetry – Plastic parables and An Accident in the Evening. His most recent book is a memoir, The Kowloon Kid: A Hong Kong Childhood published by Transit Lounge in 2019.
Jane Frank’s latest chapbook is Wide River (Calanthe Press, 2020). Her poems have won awards and been widely published both in Australia and internationally, appearing most recently in Westerly, Plumwood Mountain, StylusLit, Shearsman, Meridian and a number of anthologies including Poetry for the Planet, The Incompleteness Book II, The Newcastle Poetry Prize Anthology and Not Very Quiet: The Anthology. Originally from the Fraser Coast region, Jane now lives in Brisbane and teaches creative writing at Griffith University.
