Emma Simington is a writer living on Yugambeh country. She is a transgender and bisexual person, who has a learning disability. Emma is published by Australian Poetry Journal, and The Moth Magazine. In 2021, her manuscript was shortlisted for Australia’s richest poetry prize, the Helen Anne Bell Poetry Bequest Award.
